Privacy Policy

Signiti OÜ („Signiti“) has assumed an obligation to protect the privacy of our customers and users. Thus, we have drawn up this privacy policy, which covers collection, use, disclosure, forwarding, and storing of personal data. Our activities on the Internet are in accordance with relevant legislation of the European Union and laws of the Republic of Estonia.

Definitions

Personal data is any information about a natural person that enables to identify the person directly or indirectly.

The processing of personal data is any activity performed with the personal data of the website user (hereinafter the user) – the collection, processing, storage, rectification or deletion of data.

Users are all individuals who visit the website, subscribe to newsletters or provide Signiti with their information.

Processing of personal data

The data controller of personal data is Signiti OÜ: registry code 10788294, address Pärnu mnt 139e, 11317 Tallinn, Estonia; email signiti@signiti.ee.

Collection and use of personal data

Signiti collects the following personal data of the user as described below:

  • when subscribing to the mailing list or sending an email – name and email address;
  • when making an inquiry by email or phone – name, email address, phone number;
  • when sharing own contact information upon meeting us – name, email and/or phone number, delivery address when needed;
  • when visiting our website – depersonalized data for Google Analytics statistics.

Signiti uses personal data:

  • for sending newsletters or other marketing information to users who have granted prior consent;
  • to reply to users’ inquiries;
  • to improve the user’s experience on our website through depersonalized statistics;
  • for fulfilling orders submitted by the user, including to deliver the goods, interact with the user and submit the invoice.

Signiti may authorize other persons (hereinafter the data processor), whose product or service Signiti uses to provide services to the user, to process personal data of the user. Signiti and the data processor have concluded a contract which obliges the processor to keep the processed personal data confidential and ensures the protection of personal data.

Data processors provide:

  • email management and transmission;
  • website development and accommodation;
  • analysis of the website traffic;
  • the use of business software.

Retention and security of personal data

Signiti retains all personal data for as long as it is necessary to attain the objective or according to the law. Personal data is stored on secure servers inside the European Union (‘EU’) or European Economic Area (‘EEA’).

Signiti does not transmit, sell nor release personal data to third parties without prior consent from the user.

Signiti will take all reasonable measures to protect the processed personal data. Access to the rectification and processing of personal data is restricted only to data processors and the personal data of all users is treated as confidential.

User rights

The user has the right at any time to prohibit the processing of their personal data, unless it is necessary for performing a contractual requirement, including to perform orders.

The user has the right to:

  • request access to their personal data;
  • request the rectification of their personal data or deletion of the data according to the terms provided by law;
  • request the restriction of the processing of personal data;
  • request the transfer of personal data.

To execute their rights, the user must send the corresponding request to signiti@signiti.ee. In order to ensure the security of the processing of personal data, the request of the user must be digitally signed. Signiti has the right to reject the user’s request if the identification of person is not possible or the transfer of personal data is not secure.

The user can withdraw themselves from the mailing list and to waive from further newsletters through the link at the end of the email or by emailing signiti@signiti.ee.

If the user believes that their rights have been violated in the processing of personal data, they have the right to contact the Data Protection Inspectorat.

Changes to privacy policy

Signiti reserves the right to change the privacy policy unilaterally and without notice in order to ensure their compliance with the law. The privacy policy is always available on the website. By using the website, the user gives consent to the processing of their data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
